Not everyone can make such a big commitment as fostering and volunteering. Donating is a quick and easy way to make a HUGE difference to the rescue. Your donations help Fur Angels Animal Sanctuary pay for food, supplies and veterinary care. This is a small foster based rescue, so that means there are lots of supplies needed to keep the rescue going. Fur Angels Animal Sanctuary rescues all kinds of animals with unique needs.
For example, a rabbit foster would need an enclosure, litterbox, litter, hay, timothy pellets, water bottle or bowl, food bowl, bed to sleep on, revolution (for fleas or ticks), microchip, small animal nail clippers, spay/neuter, test for coccidia, small animal carrier, and Timothy or Wooden Chew Toys.
A bird foster would need an appropriately sized cage and flight cage, perches, ladders, food and water vessels, toys, healthy bird feed and wellness exam.
An aquatic turtle foster would need an appropriately sized tank, pebble gravel, filtration system, filters, heater, thermometer, dock, de-chlorinator, heat & U/V lights, turtle food, and calcium supplements.
All fosters need pet-friendly cleaning products like trash bags, white vinegar, paper towels, and spray bottles.
This is just three examples of what is needed to help run the rescue. Our rescue includes animals like cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, iguanas, snakes, bearded dragons, geckos, turtles, birds, sugar gliders, rats, mice, gerbils, hamsters, and even fish.
